The engineer will translate customer requirements into robust implementations, deploying Fonio's AI phone agent setups including workflows, logic, and integrations with third-party systems like CRMs and calendars. Daily tasks involve debugging live systems, developing features, and creating reusable templates to scale deployments. Collaboration with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams is essential to maintain fast, stable, and repeatable deployments tailored to the Italian market.
Candidates should have strong coding skills, a solid understanding of AI systems and large language models, and experience with APIs, webhooks, and cloud deployment fundamentals. Workflow design and pragmatic problem-solving are key, along with native or near-native Italian and solid English proficiency.
