Senior Manager, Developer Evangelism Americas

Twilio is seeking a senior leader to oversee developer engagement efforts across North and Latin America. This role involves guiding a team of evangelists dedicated to fostering a vibrant developer community that actively uses Twilio’s communication tools. The manager will develop regional strategies, coordinate initiatives, and serve as a key representative in local developer events and online forums, ensuring the community’s growth aligns with company goals.

The daily work includes motivating developers, managing outreach programs, and establishing partnerships with internal teams such as marketing, product, and sales. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building developer ecosystems, leading teams, and creating compelling narratives that showcase developer success stories. They will also be responsible for measuring program effectiveness and refining approaches based on insights. The position offers flexibility to work remotely, with occasional in-person meetings for team or client engagement.

Candidates should bring over 8 years of experience in developer relations or related fields, with at least 3-5 years in leadership roles. Strong skills in mentoring, cross-department collaboration, and understanding regional developer landscapes are essential. The role emphasizes strategic planning, community nurturing, and influencing organizational initiatives. While based in the US, familiarity with North and Latin American developer communities is preferred.
