Infrastructure Engineer

Simple AI is a company focused on creating advanced voice AI agents for enterprise clients, supporting phone operations like customer support and order processing. The engineering team is expanding, and the new Infrastructure Engineer will be integral to maintaining and scaling the company's cloud-based systems. The role involves hands-on work with AWS, Kubernetes, and automation tools to ensure reliable, low-latency voice interactions for major clients.

The Infrastructure Engineer will design, build, and operate the company's cloud infrastructure, emphasizing reliability and scalability for real-time voice services. Key tasks include managing AWS resources with Terraform, developing deployment workflows, and enhancing system observability. The role requires strong experience with Kubernetes, Linux, networking, and automation in languages like Python, Go, or TypeScript.

This position is based in San Francisco, full-time, and onsite. Candidates should have at least four years of experience with production infrastructure, especially in Kubernetes and AWS. The role demands ownership, clear communication, and problem-solving skills. Nice-to-have skills include GitOps tools, real-time audio systems, and database management, with a focus on building resilient, efficient voice AI infrastructure.
