About the role
At Cartesia, a company pioneering AI model architectures inspired by human learning and interaction, the Enterprise Account Executive role is part of a growing sales team focused on landing and expanding large enterprise customers. The company combines deep AI research expertise with product engineering to build advanced foundation models, supported by prominent investors and advisors. The role is based in their San Francisco headquarters with a hybrid work model.
The Enterprise Account Executive will manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, from initial meetings through technical evaluations, security reviews, and procurement to closing deals. Responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying leads, negotiating multi-year agreements, and driving account expansion by identifying new use cases and teams within existing customers. Collaboration with GTM strategists, solutions, research, and post-sales teams is essential to scope proofs of concept and refine sales processes.
Candidates should have over six years of B2B sales experience with a strong record of exceeding quotas and closing large enterprise deals, preferably selling platforms or APIs to technical buyers. The role demands technical curiosity to engage with engineering evaluators and the ability to generate pipeline through both inbound and outbound efforts. Cartesia values a collaborative, competitive mindset and offers comprehensive benefits, visa sponsorship support, and a culture emphasizing fast execution and inclusivity.
