Commercial Counsel

Retell AI, a rapidly growing voice AI company, is seeking a senior legal professional to establish and lead its legal department. The role involves supporting enterprise sales, drafting and negotiating contracts, and shaping the company's stance on legal issues related to AI and telecommunications. The team is innovative and focused on transforming customer interactions through AI-powered contact centers, with a strong backing and recognition in the industry.

The candidate will handle high-volume contract negotiations, develop legal templates, and ensure compliance with privacy and AI regulations. They will also advise on consent, disclosure, and outbound calling laws, working closely with sales and executive teams. Applicants should have a JD, active California bar membership, and extensive experience in commercial or tech transactions, especially in privacy and AI regulation.
