At Nooks, an applied AI lab focused on enhancing sales processes through AI agents, the Strategic Finance role is integral to driving the company's financial insights and strategic decisions. The team works closely with senior leadership to translate financial data into actionable business strategies, supporting the company's rapid growth and innovation in sales technology. This position is based in San Francisco with a hybrid work arrangement.
The person in this role will manage the company's key performance indicators, develop dashboards and AI-powered workflows, and collaborate with various departments to optimize go-to-market strategies and unit economics. They will lead cross-functional projects, support fundraising efforts, and contribute to board materials, ensuring financial analysis drives impactful decisions. The role demands hands-on involvement and ownership from the start, emphasizing execution and strategic influence.
Candidates should have 4 to 7 years of experience in strategic finance or FP&A within high-growth SaaS or AI companies, with strong financial modeling skills and familiarity with SaaS metrics. Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and ideally SQL or BI tools is important. The role requires excellent communication skills, a results-oriented mindset, and experience with sales technology or usage-based pricing models. Exposure to fundraising and investor relations is also valued.
