Solutions Architect

At LiveKit, a company providing infrastructure for AI agents and voice applications, the Solutions Architect role is part of the sales and marketing team. This position involves partnering with account executives to support engineers and enterprises using LiveKit's platform. The architect designs technical solutions, builds demos and proofs-of-concept, and guides customers from initial discussions through to production deployment, focusing on real-time voice and video applications.

Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with sales and engineering teams to understand customer needs, advising on cloud architecture across major providers like AWS, GCP, and Azure, and creating tailored live demos and reference applications. The role requires hands-on technical work with deployment tools such as containers and Kubernetes, as well as reasoning about network connectivity and latency to ensure scalable, reliable solutions. The architect also contributes technical content and shares field insights to influence product development.

Candidates should have at least four years of experience in solutions architecture or related customer-facing engineering roles, strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript/Node, or Go, and familiarity with cloud deployment and networking fundamentals. Knowledge of real-time media protocols and AI voice technologies is a plus. The position is fully remote, open to candidates in the UK and Germany, and emphasizes collaboration, continuous learning, and technical communication skills.
