Senior Fullstack Engineer (m/f/d) - AI Health tech

The Senior Fullstack Engineer role is part of the tech team working on the ML App, a critical platform for managing machine learning workflows and handling sensitive healthcare data securely.

The engineer will co-own the ML App codebase, which includes a React/TypeScript frontend and Kotlin backend services running on Kubernetes. Responsibilities include designing and implementing features for data labeling, exploration, ML training orchestration, and model evaluation. The role also involves improving in-house annotation tools to avoid reliance on external vendors and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and observability systems. Collaboration with the platform team on security and authentication components is also expected.

Candidates should have over five years of experience building fullstack web applications with React and TypeScript, strong Kotlin backend skills, and a track record of owning complex production systems. Experience working with regulated data such as HIPAA or GDPR is essential, along with good product and UX sensibilities related to annotation and data exploration interfaces.
