About the role
At Voize, a YCombinator-backed startup revolutionizing healthcare documentation with AI, the Engineering Manager role is central to leading a team that builds software used daily by thousands of care professionals. The company’s AI technology enables nurses to document care via voice, saving significant time and improving quality. Voize is rapidly growing and operates with a hybrid work model from Berlin, blending cutting-edge tech with social impact.

The role requires close collaboration with product, ML, data, and go-to-market teams to align engineering efforts with business goals and ensure scalable, reliable software delivery in a fast-paced startup environment.
Candidates should have a strong software engineering background, ideally with prior tech lead or senior engineering experience before moving into management. Proven people leadership skills, experience building teams, and the ability to drive technical strategy aligned with business priorities are essential. Fluency in English is required, with German as a plus. The company offers stock options, flexible hours, learning resources, and a supportive culture focused on growth and impact.
