About the role
Stuut is seeking a Design Engineer to shape the visual and interaction aspects of its financial automation platform. The role involves creating intuitive, trustworthy interfaces for AI agents, data-heavy workflows, and configuration tools, ensuring clarity and usability for finance teams. The engineer will work closely with product managers and engineers, owning the design process from concept to implementation, and building a cohesive design system for the product.
The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing user interfaces for core product features, including agent activity, worklists, and configuration panels. They will focus on making complex financial data accessible and actionable, while maintaining powerful controls. The role emphasizes rapid prototyping, customer feedback, and post-launch quality, with a strong focus on accessibility and performance.
Ideal applicants will have proven experience in frontend development with React and TypeScript, a strong visual and interaction design background, and the ability to work across the stack. Familiarity with AI agent interfaces, enterprise workflows, and data visualization is a plus.
