About the role
HappyRobot is looking for an experienced Chief of Staff to partner directly with the CEO in a full-time, hybrid role located in San Francisco. The company develops advanced AI systems that autonomously handle decision-making and operational tasks across large-scale enterprise environments, with a history rooted in logistics and critical infrastructure. The role focuses on aligning strategic initiatives, streamlining communication channels, and supporting the executive’s engagement with clients and stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing briefing documents, crafting internal and external messages, and representing the CEO in key customer interactions. They will act as the main conduit for incoming requests, prioritizing and filtering information to maximize the CEO’s effectiveness. Gaining practical knowledge of the company’s AI platform and facilitating leadership meetings and planning sessions are also essential duties.
Candidates should bring over a decade of experience in roles that demand high ownership, ideally within technology startups or growth-stage companies. Strong communication skills, including the capacity to produce content that reflects the CEO’s voice, are crucial. A genuine interest in AI technology, combined with analytical skills and a collaborative approach, will help the candidate succeed.
