Product Platform - Product Engineer

At Baseten, the Product Platform team develops enterprise-grade products that enhance the company's AI inference platform, which supports leading AI companies in deploying advanced models. This team focuses on building scalable, customer-facing features and developer tools that integrate with the core platform, enabling seamless AI product delivery. The role involves working on critical areas such as commercialization, billing, partnerships, developer productivity, and enterprise controls like identity and access management.

The Product Engineer will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of features, from understanding customer needs through design, launch, and iteration. Collaboration with product, design, and engineering peers is key, as is balancing competing priorities based on impact. The work includes building scalable systems that perform well in production and shipping features incrementally with continuous validation from internal and external users. The role demands agility in tackling ambiguous problems and expanding scope as the product evolves.

This full-time position is hybrid, based in San Francisco, New York, or Seattle. Candidates should have strong software engineering skills combined with a product and customer-oriented mindset.
