Implementation Engineer

At Heidi AI, the team is dedicated to transforming healthcare through AI-powered solutions that streamline administrative tasks and enhance patient care. The Implementation Engineer will be responsible for creating and managing integrations between Heidi's platform and various healthcare systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and operational efficiency. This role involves close collaboration with customer IT teams, presales, and internal engineering to deliver tailored solutions that meet clinical and operational needs.

The core daily tasks include designing, building, testing, and deploying integrations using HL7, FHIR, APIs, and webhooks, with a focus on reusability and documentation. The engineer will evaluate customer requests for technical feasibility, scope efforts, and communicate constraints or risks effectively. Post-deployment, ongoing monitoring and iteration are essential to maintain integration health and performance.

Candidates should have at least three years of experience in healthcare or enterprise SaaS integrations, with hands-on skills in HL7v2, FHIR, REST APIs, and programming in Python or TypeScript. Experience working with EHR systems like Epic or Oracle Health is preferred. The role is onsite in New York, full-time, and involves direct engagement with customer teams, requiring technical expertise, clear communication, and a proactive approach to integration challenges.
