The AI Safety team is dedicated to developing systems that ensure the ethical and secure use of these voice models. The role involves collaborating with specialists in safety, engineering, and policy to convert safety standards into effective data management and assessment procedures, beginning with data gathering, annotation, and analysis.
The Data Scientist will oversee the entire lifecycle of safety-related data, including its collection, refinement, and validation. They will craft procedures to evaluate how models perform in real-world applications, using live data to identify issues and improve reliability. Building efficient Python and SQL workflows will be essential to enhance data handling and reproducibility. The position requires analytical rigor, independence, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across teams in a dynamic environment.
This opportunity is located in London with a flexible hybrid working model. It is a contractual, full-time position suited for professionals experienced in managing datasets and evaluating machine learning systems, especially within safety, trust, or moderation contexts.
