Baseten is a rapidly growing AI platform company that supports innovative AI startups by providing infrastructure and developer tools. The company is in the process of bringing its HR systems in-house, specifically implementing Workday, and is seeking a dedicated Senior Analyst to manage this system. This role involves configuring and maintaining Workday, ensuring smooth operations, and supporting HR and payroll processes in a hybrid work environment from San Francisco or New York.
The Senior Workday Analyst will be responsible for day-to-day system configuration, managing business processes, security, and data loads, and overseeing system releases. They will work closely with IT and payroll teams, troubleshoot issues, and mentor colleagues to develop team-wide expertise. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Workday HCM, including configuration, security, and data management, and will enjoy hands-on work and continuous improvement.
Candidates should have over six years of experience managing a live Workday tenant, with deep knowledge of core modules and release management. They should be proactive builders, comfortable with technical tasks, and able to communicate clearly. Experience with payroll, benefits, or absence modules is a plus.
