The position as a Staff Engineer involves taking ownership of the core voice agent management system, including data models, APIs, orchestration, and system reliability. The engineer will work on backend development using Python and FastAPI, ensuring high performance and scalability for a multi-tenant SaaS environment. Collaboration with frontend teams and establishing strong engineering practices are key responsibilities.
Candidates should have extensive experience in backend systems, particularly with Python, FastAPI, and telephony infrastructure like SIP/VoIP. They need a proven track record of designing, deploying, and operating large-scale distributed systems, with expertise in workflow orchestration, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
