Senior People Business Generalist Contractor

Tekion, a rapidly growing automotive technology company, is seeking a Senior People Business Generalist to join their on-site team at the Pleasanton headquarters. This role supports the HR function by partnering with leadership and managers to implement HR programs, policies, and processes that enhance employee experience and organizational effectiveness. On a day-to-day basis, the Generalist will advise employees and managers on HR matters, manage employee relations, coordinate onboarding and offboarding, and ensure compliance with legal and internal standards. They will work closely with various HR and business functions, support HR communications, and contribute to process improvements. The role requires strong HR knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion.

Candidates should have over five years of HR experience, familiarity with employment laws, HRIS systems, and supporting a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
