At Fonio, a rapidly growing AI voice agent company in Europe, the IT Workplace Specialist plays a crucial role in managing the company's internal technology infrastructure. This position involves overseeing all aspects of employee IT setup, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring secure and efficient device and access management. The specialist will work closely with various teams to support scaling efforts and maintain a secure, automated environment.
Daily responsibilities include configuring and managing devices using MDM solutions, automating user access across SaaS platforms, and preparing the company for SOC 2 compliance. The role requires hands-on support for internal tech issues and maintaining a clean, cost-effective tool landscape. Collaboration with People Ops, Engineering, and external security advisors is essential to ensure smooth operations.
Candidates should have at least two years of experience in IT administration, with strong skills in device management, identity and access management, and automation scripting. Experience with macOS devices, MDM solutions, and SaaS tools like Google Workspace and Slack is necessary.
