Abridge is a healthcare-focused AI company that develops real-time clinical documentation tools for medical conversations, integrating deeply with electronic medical records. The company is expanding its engineering team in New York and seeks a senior technical leader to establish and grow the office's engineering culture and operations. This role involves overseeing critical product areas, setting technical standards, and representing the company's engineering efforts locally.

The role requires managing engineering teams, including hiring, mentorship, and technical oversight, with a focus on building scalable, enterprise-grade software. The candidate should be hands-on with coding and technical reviews, possess a strong understanding of AI and agentic engineering, and have experience in fast-paced startup environments. The position demands a commitment to working onsite in SoHo five days a week.

This leadership position is full-time and based in New York, emphasizing in-person collaboration to foster team growth and product development. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of engineering management experience, a proven track record of product delivery from inception to scale, and a passion for healthcare innovation through AI. Experience in regulated domains or with AI/ML teams is considered a bonus.
