The role of the Database Engineer II involves creating and managing robust database systems that support the company's cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities include designing data schemas, enhancing query efficiency, and automating routine database tasks to ensure smooth operations. The engineer will work closely with software development and operations teams to align database architecture with application requirements, while also maintaining system health and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Ideal candidates will have between four and six years of hands-on experience working with database systems, demonstrating proficiency in SQL, scripting languages, and data management tools. Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB is essential. This position is based at the Chennai office, requiring a collaborative approach in a fast-paced environment dedicated to advancing automotive retail technology.
