The tenth CHiME challenge on speech separation, enhancement and recognition in hard real-world conditions, with three tasks announced.
About CHiME-10 Challenge
The tasks are ECHI-2 (enhancing conversations recorded on smart glasses for hearing inclusivity), URGENT (one speech enhancement system covering universal enhancement, target-speaker extraction and echo cancellation) and SG-TSE (target-speaker extraction from multichannel smart-glasses recordings). The challenge opens 4 February 2027. Submissions are due Aug–Sep 2027 (exact date TBC), and results go to CHiME 2027, a one-day workshop in December 2027, planned as a satellite or co-located event with ASLI 2027 (details TBC).
