Learning Pipecat
Pipecat's official step-by-step guide to building real-time voice AI agents with its open source Python framework.
About Learning Pipecat
The guide walks through Pipecat's pipeline architecture of frames, processors and pipelines, then builds a first agent. Chapters cover transports such as WebRTC, Daily and Twilio, speech input and turn detection, speech-to-text, context management, LLM inference, function calling and text-to-speech. Later chapters cover multi-agent setups such as agent handoff. Pipecat itself is free under the BSD-2 license; you pay only for any third-party AI services you choose.
