About the role
At Suno, a leading AI music entertainment company, the Senior Manager of Policy will lead the Trust & Safety Policy team. This role focuses on developing and managing policies that govern content and behavior on their rapidly growing music generation platform. The position involves close collaboration with product, engineering, legal, and communications teams to ensure policies support scalable enforcement and compliance with music rights and regulatory requirements.
Day-to-day responsibilities include creating machine-enforceable policies addressing challenges like artist voice impersonation and synthetic content misuse. The manager will translate regulatory obligations into actionable internal policies, oversee the policy lifecycle from risk assessment to enforcement calibration, and establish frameworks for handling edge cases. They will also contribute to external communications such as community guidelines and transparency reports.
Candidates should have over seven years of experience in trust and safety or platform policy, including significant ownership of policy domains at user-generated content or generative AI platforms. Expertise in regulatory frameworks like DSA and OSA, familiarity with music rights, and strong cross-functional influence skills are essential.
