The Software Engineer, AI Data role involves discovering new audio data sources and building scalable, reliable pipelines to integrate them into training datasets. Ownership of projects from inception to continuous improvement is a key aspect of the role, requiring strong problem-solving and independent work skills.
Candidates should have at least five years of software engineering experience, proficiency in Python and Bash within Linux environments, and a background in backend development and production system operation. Experience with web crawling, cloud infrastructure like GCP and Terraform, and familiarity with machine learning training data or audio processing are advantageous.
