About the role
At Suno, a leading AI music entertainment company based in San Francisco, the Senior or Staff AI Platform Engineer will join the Platform Engineering team to enhance the infrastructure supporting their song creation agent. This role focuses on building APIs, SDKs, and shared tools that enable other engineering teams to develop agent features efficiently. The engineer will design and implement platform components such as evaluation infrastructure, tracing systems for observability, and model routing mechanisms. Collaboration with various internal teams, including Infra and agent developers, is essential to ensure reliability, scalability, and smooth onboarding. Success is measured by adoption and the ability to accelerate feature delivery across Suno's engineering organization.
Candidates should have 4 to 6 years of experience building scalable backend or platform systems, preferably with exposure to production large language model or agent systems. Strong skills in distributed systems, observability, and working closely with internal customers are required.
