At Together AI, a company specializing in AI infrastructure and cloud services, the Director of Debt Capital Markets will be a senior finance leader working closely with the CFO and executive team. This role is pivotal in driving the company’s debt financing strategies to support its infrastructure expansion. The position involves managing relationships with lenders and capital providers, structuring complex financing deals, and collaborating across departments to align financial initiatives with business growth.
Day-to-day responsibilities include leading the end-to-end debt capital markets processes such as outreach to lenders and advisors, preparing marketing and due diligence materials, negotiating credit agreements, and ensuring smooth execution of financing transactions. The director will also partner with legal, business operations, engineering, and product teams to integrate financing strategies with the company’s infrastructure scaling efforts. The role demands a hands-on approach to strategic finance projects and a deep understanding of the company’s products and market.
Candidates should bring over ten years of experience in private equity investing, debt capital markets, or investment banking, with a strong track record in structured finance and complex transaction execution. The ideal person will have excellent negotiation skills, financial modeling expertise, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. This full-time role is based in San Francisco and requires strong communication skills and intellectual curiosity to understand Together AI’s technology and business model.
