Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager will oversee key parts of the monthly financial close, including reconciliations and journal entries, while developing and documenting scalable processes. They will support the company's first-year audit and prepare for IPO, applying AI and automation to improve efficiency. The role involves technical research, process improvement, and system enhancements, requiring a versatile, proactive individual.

This position requires 5-7 years of accounting experience, ideally with a mix of public accounting and high-growth industry exposure. Strong US GAAP knowledge, audit support experience, and a generalist skill set are essential. The candidate should be comfortable with technical and operational accounting, and have a demonstrated ability to implement AI and automation. The role is based in San Francisco, with full-time, on-site work and competitive compensation.
